BYRNE, Theresa (nee Lewis) (July 13. 1945- October 28, 2011) — of Avondale. Passed peacefully away at home, with her loving family by her side, after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her husband, Richard (November -2008): her mother Johanna Lewis (November -1998): her father Steven Lewis (November-1942); Sisters Eleanor Bennett & Rita Rose: brothers Tom, Peter and James Lewis: Leaving to mourn her loving daughter Audrey (Avondale), sons: Richard Jr & Sue (Toronto), Kevin (Fort McMurray): one very precious grandaughter Amy and one loving grandson Matthew: sisters: Angela (Mank) Colbourne, Betty (Perry) Copas, Carmel Costello, Margaret Connolly, Dorothy (Edward) Delaney, brother Kevin (Rita) Lewis, special care givers: Phyllis Lewis, Sis Terry & Peggy McHugh, also a large circle of family and friends whom she touched dearly. Resting at Dunphy's Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation on Saturday, October 29, 2011 from 7-9 p.m. and on Sunday, October 30, from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Funeral will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, October 31, 2011 from Assumption Church, Avondale.
