CORMIER, RITA C. - Rita C. Cormier, 95, of ProTem Health Services and formerly of Elmwood Dr. Moncton, with her loving family (Shirley and Al) at her side, passed away peacefully at her residence on Saturday October 29, 2011. Born in Tankville, she was the daughter of the late Joshua and Christine (Snow) Cassidy. Rita was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and was formerly employed with the T. Eaton Co. Ltd. She attended Saint Michael’s Roman Catholic Church and was a member of the C.W.L. Rita enjoyed gardening, cooking, knitting, reading, helping other people, worshipping with at her church and spending precious time with her family. Rita will be sadly missed by her loving daughter, Shirley Baglole (Al) of Moncton, precious grandchildren, Tracy Baglole of Halifax, Tammy Baglole-LeBlanc (Peter) of Irishtown, treasured great granddaughter, Alyson, several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Edgar Cormier (2001), sisters, Edna, Alma, Lena, Laura, Helen, Eva and Ida, brothers, Walter, John and Edward.
Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road Moncton (858-1995) on Tuesday from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. Funeral Mass to be held at Saint Michael’s Roman Catholic Church (Masters Road) on Wednesday November 2, 2011 at 9:30am with Rev. Bernard Sloan officiating. Reception following the mass.
