DALY, TIMOTHY - Timothy Daly of Saint John passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, October 29, 2011. He is survived by his parents John and Mertiece (Verner) Daly; sisters Dianne (Carl Gustavsen) of Hatfield Point, Brenda (Leroy Maskell) of Bath, Wanda (Andrew Amos) of Dartmouth, NS, and Tammy (Mike Marshall) of Saint John; brothers John Andrew of Shediac and Todd of Saint John; son Timothy Andrew Daly and his mother Andrea Nickerson; daughter Katherine Daly and her mother Melanie Hicks; granddaughter Brouke Colwell; companion Trudy Clark, best friend Linda Fraser and his beloved cat Francis. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Timothy was a self-taught artist, loved playing his guitars especially the music of Bob Dylan, and has volunteered at the Chaplaincy for many years.
Visitations will be held at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Tuesday, November 1st from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, November 2nd at 1:00 pm with interment to follow at Oceanview Memorial Gardens. Following the interment a reception will be held at the Fundy Funeral Home. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. At the request of the family, please no scented products at the funeral.
