Peacefully at Western Hospital, Alberton, on Monday, Oct. 31, 2011, of Marion Helen MacMillan, Elmsdale, age 78, beloved wife of Erskine MacMillan. Marion was born in Union on Oct. 11, 1933, daughter of the late Keir and Eliza Mae (Haywood) Campbell. Cherished mother to Wayne (Barb), Ingersol, Ont.; Bonnie (James) Matthews, Montrose; and Betty Lue (Chris) MacMillan, Airdrie, Alta. Dear grandmother to 11 grandchildren: Alison MacMillan (Jason Arsenault), Greg, Alex and Dominik MacMillan, Krystal (Jason) Hackett, Jeremy (Alena) Matthews, Kandace Matthews, Darcie, Riley, Cameron and Aspa MacMillan and three great-grandchildren: Kolby, Klaire and Sophey. Marion is also survived by brothers and sisters: Bessie Horne, Rhode Island; Jean Johnstone, Alberton; Bill (Stella) Campbell, Dock; sisters and brothers-in-law: Georgie Campbell, Alberton; Sidney Hardy, Union; Leigh (Tina) MacMillan, Cascumpec; Isabel (Leigh) Sutherland, Kingsville, Ont.; Elizabeth MacMillan, Shrewsbury, Ont.; and Leslie (Chris) MacMillan, Belmont, Ont. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, brothers Robert Campbell, Fred Campbell, Ross Campbell, sisters Eleanor Hardy and Carrie Matthews, and nephews Greg MacMillan and Richard Hardy. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary, with visiting hours Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral will be held at the Elmsdale Church of the Nazarene, Friday at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow in the Elmsdale Church of the Nazarene Cemetery. In memory of Marion, memorials to Elmsdale Nazarene Church Cemetery, Cancer Society or Elmsdale Church of the Nazarene Building Fund would be appreciated.
