GAUDET, CLÉMENCE - Clémence Gaudet, 95, of Villa du Repos in Moncton, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2011 at the Villa following a lengthy illness. Born on June 21, 1916 in Acadieville, she was the daughter of the late Georges and Clémence (LeBlanc) Doiron. She is survived by five children: Edmonda Gaudet (Jean-Eudes Chiasson), Dorice Maillet (Wilfred), Eva Gaudet, Edmond (Susan) and Edouard (Rose); 22 grandchildren and several great and great-great-grandchildren. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her husband, Edmond, three sons: Georges, Thomas and Théophile as well as her sister and brothers.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 1 p.m. until time of departure (1:45). The funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-Grâce R.C. Church, 854 Mountain Road, Moncton on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe.
