Entered into rest at the Glenbrook Lodge Nursing Home on October 28th, 2009, Lillian Cavell Burry, age 92 years. Predeceased by husbands Clarence D. Newell and W. Ronald Burry, brothers Donald, Hammond and Bert. Left with fond and loving memories are son Donald Newell (Nancy) and children Gillian (Shawn), David (Deana), Allison and Gillian (Stephen); daughter Pamela Penney (Rob Thomas) and children Ian (Sarah), Mark (Robin) and Noelle (Shawn); Patricia Stone (Harry) and children Kelly (Steve) and Brad (Cindy); Ronald Burry (Barb) and children Carol Summers and children; also Lillian’s brother Arthur Taylor (Mildred), sister Gladelle Butt (Ivar) and sister-in-law Ruby Taylor; great-grandchildren: Stephanie Pelley, Andrew Pelley, Christopher Newell, Kate Newell, Olivia Penney, Alexandra Penney, Lucas Penney, Hannah Penney, Sam Penney, Evan Hawkins, Corbin Stone and Riley Stone; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, along with devoted and caring friends Kay and Clarence Marsh and Rita Symonds. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Thursday, October 29th, 2009 and Friday, October 30th, 2009 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held on Saturday, October 31st, 2009 at 11 a.m. from Cochrane Street United Church. Interment to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Dr. H.
