Olive Legare of Moose Jaw passed away peacefully on November 1, 2011 at the age of 81. Olive was born January 22, 1930 to Nels and Annie Nielsen in Moose Jaw. She worked for Ottawa Real Estate, Birds Construction, Henderson Agencies and Tate Coal Company where she met the love of her life Maurice Legare. They married April 22, 1950. They were blessed with five children, Brenda, Ricky, Bonnie, Doug and Penny. Olive was predeceased by her parents; her in-laws; son Ricky; daughter Brenda; great-granddaughter Hope; sisters Dorothy and Thelma. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 61 years Maurice; her children Bonnie (Tom), Doug, Penny; thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; brother Doug Nielson as well as many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held Friday November 4, 2011 at 1:00pm at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 15 Westpark Dr., Moose Jaw. Bishop Gerald Miller will officiate. A time of visitation will be held Thursday November 3, 2011 from 7:00pm – 9:00pm at W. J. Jones and Son Chapel. Interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery.
