Lieu de décès : SYDNEY, Nouvelle Ecosse, Canada
Date de décès : 30 octobre 2011
It is with broken hearts that we, the family, announce the passing of Chipman Rudderham on Sunday, Oct. 30, 2011, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late Herman and Alice (MacIsaac) Rudderham.
Known as Pamp to all the grandchildren who loved him dearly. He was employed over 25 years with the Department of Transportation where he made many long-lasting friendships.
His greatest pleasures were all the simple things life had to offer, enjoying a long drive over the mountain and spending time with his family. Many hours of joy and laughter he shared with all his grandchildren. Pamp was well known for having a silly nickname for all his loved ones. He earned a special place in everyone’s heart.
Chippy is survived by his loving wife, Isabel (Hill); daughters, Brenda, Tracy, Sherry, Nicole, Wanda, Shelly, Angie and Brittany whom he raised; his sons, Blair, Robert, Clinton and Gabe; his brothers, Alan (Mary), Hermie (Cathy), Dennis (Delores), Deanna (Clyde); 28 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; aunts, Eileen Rudderham, Shirley Fraser and Clare MacIssac; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Mabel and Beverly, and brother, Maxie.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011, at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 4, 2011, in the funeral home chapel. Reception to follow.
Rest easy Pamp.
