Passed peacefully away at Presentation Convent, Cathedral Square, St. John’s, on Tuesday, November 1, 2011, Sister Eileen Emberley, aged 80 years. Predeceased by her parents Isabella and Patrick and sister Gertrude. Left to mourn: the Presentation Sisters; one brother Patrick (Lorraine). Nieces: Isabella (George) Jenkins, Rita (William) Noseworthy and Holly; nephews: George (Colleen), Raymond, Wilfred (Nancy), Guy (Sandra), Bill (Mathilda) and their families; devoted friend Maxine Thistle, other relatives and friends. The wake will be held at Presentation Motherhouse, Cathedral Square, St. John’s. Visiting hours are on Wednesday from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.; Thursday from 10:00 - 12:00, 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00; Vigil Service at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mass of Christian Burial at the Basilica of St. John the Baptist on Friday, November 4 at 11:30 a.m. with interment to follow at Presentation Cemetery, Cathedral Square.
