Allan John passed away Oct. 30, 2011, at Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in Victoria County Memorial Hospital, Baddeck, he was the son of Isabel Isadore and the late John Cremo.
He was a member of Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha parish, Wagmatcook.
He was a wonderful father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He worked as a plumber for the Wagmatcook Band for many years. He also did various jobs including helping out at the gas bar, water plant and wherever he was needed. Allan always helped anyone in need.
He is survived by one daughter, Isabel Isadore; three sisters, Barbara Isadore, Waycobah, Theresa Dennis, Sydney, and Diane Isadore, Membertou. One grandchild, Alexandria Isadore; one godchild, Austin Isadore; and several nieces and nephews.
Beside his father, he was predeceased by a infant daughter, Alexandria and one sister, Mary Ellen (Molly) Sylliboy.
The wake will be held at the home of Mary Janet Isadore, 64 Jo Gun Rd., Wagmatcook, starting 2 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. at Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Church, Wagmatcook, Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011, with Fr. Robert MacNeil officiating. Burial in Queen of the World Cemetery.
