CAISSIE, EDOUARD - (1952-2011) - ALDOUANE, N.B. - Edouard Caissie 59, of Aldouane passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 1st, 2011 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital, Moncton. Born in Richibouctou-Village, he was the son of the late Adelard and the late Emerise (Allain) Caissie. Before retiring, Edouard was a school teacher for 30 years; he attended St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church and was a past member of the Rexton Curling Club. Edouard will be sadly missed by his loving wife; Alice Caissie (née Comeau), his daughter; Sara Caissie of Moncton, his two sisters; Marie Richard (Norman) of Dieppe, Jeannette Robichaud (Ellery) of Moncton, his eight brothers; Roger (Huberte) of Dixon Point, Bernard (Aline) of Moncton, Ronnie (Aurella) of Ste. Marie, André (Thérèse) of Moncton, Raymond of Cap Lumière, Laurent (Claudette) of Richibouctou-Village, Jean-Guy of Montréal, Léon (Jocelyne) of Shediac Cape, his sister-in-law; Alice, as well as his several nieces and nephews. Other than by his parents, Edouard is predeceased by his two brothers; Roméo and Gérard.
Edouard will be resting at Thompson Funeral Home, Richibucto, with visitation on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 7:00 to 9:00pm, and on Friday from 9:00am until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 4th, 2011 at 11:00am, at the St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto. Interment will be in Aldouane R.C. Cemetery.
