BOURQUE, FERNAND (FERN) - 1958 - 2011 - Cocagne, NB - Fernand Bourque, 53, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, November 1, 2011. Born in Cocagne on March 2, 1958, he was the son of the late Willie Bourque and Laudia (Bastarache) Bourque. Fern will be sadly missed by his mother, Laudia; his two sisters, Claudette William (Gary) and Ginette Bourque, both of Moncton; his three brothers, Jean-Guy (Barbara) of Dieppe, Arsène and Daniel, both of Cocagne; three nieces, Chantal, Stéphanie and Rebecca; and also several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Besides his father, he was predeceased by one sister, Adèla and two brothers, Ulysse and Valmond.
Visitations will be held at the St. Pierre de Cocagne slumber room on Monday, November 7 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and on Tuesday, November 8 from 2 pm until time of the funeral service. Funeral service will be at the St. Pierre de Cocagne RC Church on Tuesday, November 8 at 4 pm. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery. Donations to Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital (Cancer dept.) or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
