Passed peacefully away, on November 1, 2011, at the Health Science Centre, following a courageous battle with cancer, Francis (Frank) White, of St. Mary’s, S.M.B., aged 63 years. Predeceased by parents Len & Marie White, sister Barbara (August 2011), brothers Robert and Raymond, nephew Jeffery White, parents-in-law Leo & Frances Christopher, sisters-in-law Geraldine and Monica and brother-in-law Leo (Jr.). Leaving to mourn loving wife Joan; son Robert; brothers: Don (Candance) and Doug (Sharon); sisters: Betty-Ann (Gord), Kathleen and Janet; special niece & nephew Brittany & Cody; aunts: Theresa, Gen, Edna, Phil, Betty, Marg Monahan, Rita, Patricia and Marg Singleton, other nieces and nephews and relatives of the White and the Christopher family and many friends, including those in Ontario where Frank lived for the past 38 years. Cremation has taken place. Visitation to be held at Gibbons’ Funeral Home, St. Mary’s, NL, on Thursday, November 3 and Friday, November 4, from 2 – 4 pm; 7 – 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Saturday, November 5, at 10 am, at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, St. Mary’s. Inurnment to follow.
