SHOULTZ, Harriett Jeanette, 80 passed away at Roseway Hospital on Monday, October 31, 2011. Formally from Welshtown she was a daughter of the late Victor and Georgie (Davis) DesChamp. Harriett was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #63, Shelburne, a member of the Shelburne Lions Club for 25 years, a foster mom for 25 years where she opened her home and her heart to many children during this time. In her earlier years she enjoyed playing Bingo and cards but her greatest love was spending time with her family. She is survived by her loving daughter Marilyn (Barry) MacLellan, sister Joan (Doug) Ross, New Glasgow, adoring grandchildren Erin and Dwayne, her 3 pride and joy great grandsons, Darren MacLellan, Braxton Parker and Austin MacLellan foster son Steven Faye and foster daughter Wanda Faye. She was predeceased by her husband Roger, her long time friend Irving Bullerwell, daughter Judy, grandson Darren Byron Weir and sister Dorothy Wolfe. By Harriett’s request there will be no memorial service. A private family graveside service will be held at the Welshtown Cemetery at a later date.
