Mildred Alma Anderson (Hoare) of New Glasgow, died Saturday, November 5th, 2011 in the Aberdeen Hospital.
Born in Truro on February 18, 1925 to Clarence and Mabel ( Slaunwhite) Hoare .
She was pre deceased by her husband Aubrey Anderson in 1990, a brother George Hoare and a sister Ruth Delaney, a brother in-law Cecil Delaney.
Mildred was known for her story telling and poetry. She was a master of both.
Mildred is survived by her children, Marina Godfrey (George), Amherst; sons Michael and Jonalyn, her sister Dorothy Russell, Tracadie-Sheila, NB; a sister in-law Hilda Hoare, Fox Harbour; along with many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive visitors from 7-9 P.M. on Tuesday and from 1-2 P.M. on Wednesday in the H.W.Angus Funeral Home ,New Glasgow.
Funeral service will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday in the H.W.Angus Funeral Home Chapel with Lorraine MacDonald officiating.
Burial will be in the Church Brook Cemetery ,Little Harbour.
Donations in memory of Mildred may be made to the Palliative Care Society of the Aberdeen Hospital or to a charity of one’s choice.
