GAUTREAU, EUCLIDE - 1927 - 2011 - Euclide Gautreau, 83, of Oasis d’Or and formerly of Evangeline St., Dieppe, NB, passed away on Sunday, November 6th, 2011 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center. Born in Pré-d’En-Haut, NB, he was the son of the late Edouard and the late Alma (née: Boudreau) Gautreau. He worked in construction for most of his life and for the last 11 years of his career at NBCC (Moncton Campus). He greatly enjoyed gardening, fishing, cards “200” and bowling. He was a dedicated family man who loved his wife, children and grandchildren. Euclide was a member of Ste-Thérèse parish. He is survived by his wife, Aldona (née: Després); three sons: Claude (Lisanne) of Dieppe, Raoul (Renata) of Kitchener, ON and Charles (Nicole) of Dieppe; one brother, Paul-Emile (Lucille) of Shediac; eight grandchildren: Renelle, Sophie, Pierre, Nicolas, Céline, Gabriella, Isabelle and Natalia as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters: Lorraine and Hermine and also by three brothers: Gerard, Leo and Adrien.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, 857-1901, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Ste-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB, on Wednesday, November 9th, 2011 at 2 pm.
