Dan Maurice McKenna, 62, of Swift Current, SK, passed away on October 27, 2011. The funeral service was held on Thursday, November 3, 2011, at the East Side Church of God, with Pastor Kevin Snyder officiating. Eulogists were Danny McKenna, and John and Jo-Ann McKenna. The pallbearers were: Darcy McKenna, Jerry McKenna, Neil McKenna, Calvin Krause, Randy Pollard, Greg Singbeil and Al Roy. He is survived by his wife, Pat McKenna; children, Darcy McKenna (Jill Smith), Danny McKenna (Krista Prang), and Laurie McKenna (Calvin Krause); grandchildren Ryder and Danika; brothers Jerry McKenna (Deidre), and John McKenna; sister Jo-Ann McKenna; and sister-in-law Lorraine McKenna; nieces and nephews: Neil McKenna (Carol Sanders) and family, Cindy Pollard (Randy) and family, Karen and Lauren McKenna, and Kim and Samantha Barley. Dan was born in Green Field Park (Montreal), Quebec, on May 21, 1949. Dan passed away suddenly. He loved to golf, fish, and officiating football and boxing. Dan loved his wife, children, grandchildren and extended family. He will be deeply missed by all.
