It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a dignified and caring lady. She was born to the late Hilda and James Ryan on June 17th, 1945, who, along with many other predeceased family and friends who met Mom in her heavenly ascent. Edie was married to Ron, who was her best friend and the love of her life. Daughters: Monique and Crystal (Todd Walsh) will cherish the time spent with their Mom and all of the life lessons she taught them. Edie’s grandsons: Alexander Owens – Taylor, Ryan and Brandon Walsh will certainly miss Nan’s great cooking. The family would like to thank her sister Melita Kennedy; sisters–in–law: Dianne Owens and Sheila Labrie and special friend Violet White for all their help over the last 8 months. Also mourning are her sisters: Kay Lowe (Tom), Madonna Delacey (Arthur), Melita Kennedy (Doug), Gerri Cumby (Late Maxwell), Gloria Locke (Leo), Marlene Allen; brothers: Brendan Ryan (Nina), James Ryan (Judy), late Val Ryan (Kathy), and Eugene Ryan (Judy). Please come visit and help in celebrating the life of a beautiful lady at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Tuesday and Wednesday from 12 noon – 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, November 10th, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Patrick’s Church.
