Leonard Fahey
The family of the late Leonard Fahey wish to express our gratitude to everyone who supported us during our difficult time. Thank you to all who sent cards, visited, sent emails, and food. We are grateful for the compassion shown to Lennie by the staff at the Northside General Hospital as well Dr. E. Ignacio and Dr. P. Poulos. Thank you to Steve MacKeigan, Gordon “Wedgie” MacLeod and Ronnie MacDougal for their friendship. Thank you to Father Thomas John, Deacon Greg Murphy, Altar Servers, Eucharist Ministers, and Gift Bearers for the celebration of Lennie’s life. Thank you to the St. Pius choir, soloist Cecil Clarke, violinist Leanne Aucoin and readers at Lennie’s service. Thank you to Bill Blinkhorn who read the Sailor’s Prayer; a remembrance of a very special time in Lennie’s life. Thank you to Paul Bearers Michael Ley, Brian Gordon, Ian Cann, Lewis Butts, Ronnie MacDougal and Wedgie MacLeod. A special thank you to the Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus, Santa Maria Knights, and the Kiwanis Golden K, for their Honor Guard and presence at the wake and funeral. I wish to thank Frances and Jennifer for having a hot meal for the family on the day of Lennie’s wake and the ladies auxiliary of St. Pius for providing a beautiful lunch after Lennie’s service. A heartfelt thanks to Bobby, and staff at Francis Funeral Home. Your guidance and compassion were appreciated. I wish to express my sincere thanks for support and love from my family, Lennie’s family and our friends during his illness. Without you, our challenges in recent years would have been insurmountable.
