At the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Thursday, Nov. 10, 2011, of Mary Catherine Jacqueline (Cathy) Morrissey (nee McLean), beloved wife of Francis Morrissey of Sea Cow Pond, age 47 years. Born on Nov. 23, 1963, she was the daughter of the late Donald (Joe) and Irene (nee Gallant) McLean of Alberton. Loving mother to Cory of Sea Cow Pond; Jody (Darrell) Ellsworth of Summerside; and Mitchell (Monica) of Sea Cow Pond. Cherished grandmother to Cameron. Dear sister to Norma Costain of Elmsdale; Danny of Ottawa; Ernie of Alberton; Gail (Simone) Richard of Charlottetown; Reggie (Shelley) of Tyne Valley; Shawna (Adam Getson) of Huntley; and Lisa of Tignish. She is also survived by her aunt Helen Wells of Alberton. She is also survived by her mother-in-law Marie Morrissey of Sea Cow Pond. Sister-in-law to Robert Morrissey of Sea Cow Pond; Donnie Morrissey of Sea Cow Pond; Paul (Nicole) Morrissey of Sea Cow Pond; Peter Morrissey of Vancouver; Darlene Morrissey of Tignish; Marlene (Rodney) O'Halloran of Palmer Road; Judy (Brian) Richard of Tignish; and Tommy (Debbie) Morrissey of Summerside. She will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews, especially by Katie-Jo. She was predeceased by her sister Frances McLean. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Friday 2 to 4 from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral on Saturday morning from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Brendon Gallant Celebrant.
