Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family on October 30th, 2009, at age 85. Predeceased by his son Donald Paul in 2004. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Florence Jane (Verge); sons: David (Marg) and Randy (Daphne); daughter Susan Roberts; grandchildren: Monica and Justin Roberts, Michael, Mark (Sonya) and Bryan Randell, Daniel and Joshua Randell; great-grandson Brayden Randell; special sister-in-law Sarah Reid; also a large circle of family and friends. Don lived his life devoted to his family and to his music. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Ave., Mt. Pearl on Sunday and Monday, November 1st and 2nd, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral service from Church of the Ascension, Smallwood Drive, at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 3rd.
