Gordon A. Parr aged 76 years of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan passed away on October 29th, 2009. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd, 2009 at 2:00 pm in First Baptist Church, 1010 Main St. N., Pastor Barry Gammie will officiate. Gord was born, raised and educated in Moose Jaw. He worked for the Moose Jaw Public School Board as Secretary Treasurer. Remember Gord as a loving husband, devoted family man, proud grandfather and a caring friend. Gord was predeceased by his parents Hans and Daisy; his loving wife Maxine; father and mother-in-law Harry and Jean Crook; mother-in-law Dena Pohl; and nephew John Parr. Gord will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 13 years Marlene, sons Mark (Julie) Parr, Rob Parr, Rick Rodgers; daughter Lisa Brown, grandchildren Chad, Riley, Emily, Elizabeth and David; father-in-law Herman Pohl; brothers George (Marion) Parr, Don (Donna) Parr, Gary (Mary) Parr; brothers-in-law Grant (Bernie) Pohl, Gord (Sherri) Pohl, Don (Jacques) Pohl; sister-in-law Glenda (Boyd) Geisler; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Flowers are gratefully declined.
