At the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home on Monday, Nov. 14, 2011, of Mildred "Irene" (nee Weeks) Sharpe, Charlottetown and formerly of Pleasant Valley, in her 106th year. Dear mother of Carl (Reby). Predeceased by her husband Harold Sharpe. Last surviving member of the family of Fred and Grace (Stevenson) Weeks, Irene was predeceased by her siblings Benjamin Weeks (Ada), Stella Nicholson (Frank), Roy Weeks (Ruby), Laura Nicholson (Russell), Mary MacLeod (John), William Weeks (Marion), Alice Dickieson (Wallace) and Arnold Weeks (Elizabeth). Irene is lovingly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where the funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Fredericton Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 6-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Fredericton Cemetery, Maritime Christian College or Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home.
