Josephine (Jo) Anne Fraser
1938 - 2011

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of a beloved wife and mother on Saturday, November 12. She is survived by her loving husband Malcolm, her children Fred & Liz, Doug and Carole & William and her grandchildren Aja, Connor, Claudia and Spencer.

Jo’s dedication to youth and others in her community was a major focal point in her life. A lifetime member of the Girl Guides of Canada and a dedicated volunteer for the St. Mary’s Hospital Auxiliary, the Gibsons United Church, the Sunshine Coast Travel Ambassadors and the Gibsons Fibre Arts Festival, her contributions, leadership, enthusiasm and sense of humour will be dearly missed by many.

A memorial service is planned for Tuesday, November 22, at 2:30 pm, at Gibsons United Church. A reception will follow at the church at 3:30 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jo’s memory to the Girl Guides of Canada, Gibsons United Church or St. Mary’s Hospital Auxiliary.
