Passed suddenly away at his home in Lethbridge on Thursday, November 10, 2011, David Stares, formerly of Brooklyn, aged 80 years. Predeceased by parents Alonzo & Arabella; brother Henry. Left with fond and loving memories are his daughters: Terry Sutton (Mike), Lori Judge, Carol Stares; four grandchildren: David, Daryl, Vanessa, Sarah; one great-granddaughter Joss; sister May Starrett; brothers: Bob (Effie), Jack (Mary), Mike, Hughie (Sheila); his companion Rhoda-Mae Ploughman and a circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Lethbridge. Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 16 and Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 18, 2011 from the Anglican Church, Brooklyn with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Brooklyn. In his memory flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Lethbridge Fire Department.
