Daniel J. McDonald, of Watertown passed away on October 30, 2009 at the Newton-Wellesley Hospital in Newton, Massachusetts.
He was the beloved husband of the late Annie C. (McDougall) McDonald.
Born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, he was the son of the late Archie and Sarah (MacNeil) McDonald. Brother of Evelyn McDonald of Glace Bay and the late Joseph, Thompson, Allan and John McDonald, Marie Doyle, Pauline McLeod and Helen Fogarty. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Stanton Funeral Home, 786 Mt. Auburn St. (Rt16) Watertown was held Monday at 8 a.m. Funeral mass in the Church of St. Luke, 132 Lexington St. Belmont at 9 o’clock.
Late veteran of the Canadian Forces serving during the Second World War. Member of the Cape Breton Gaelic Club of Watertown and an Altar Server Church of St. Luke.
