TRENTON/WESTVILLE – Kathleen Isabel Muise, age 82, of Shiretown Nursing Home, formerly of Westville and Trenton, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2009, in the Shiretown Nursing Home.
Born on April 16, 1927, in Glencoe, she was a daughter of the late Tom and Mary (Worth) Kelly.
She was a resident of Trenton for most of her life and was a homemaker who enjoyed her card games.
She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Beaton (Joe), Granton; sons, Tony (Mary Anne), Mt. William; Mike (Jo Anne), Pictou Landing; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; sisters, Theresa O’Brien, Ontario; Helena MacGillivray (Hughie), Antigonish; brother, Alex Kelly, Ontario; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joe; a son in infancy; sisters, Annie Watson, Clara Campbell and Hilda Hazelton; brothers, Bill and Michael; and grand-daughter, Lesley (Beaton) Roddick.
Cremation has taken place. Family will receive visitors Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, from the Church of the Holy Name, Westville, with Father Ray Huntley officiating. Interment will be in the Holy Name Cemetery, Westville.
