BURGESS, GARY - Gary Burgess of Sussex passed away on November 16, 2011. He was the son of the late Jack and Stella (Cameron) Burgess. Gary is survived by his soul mate, Lucy LeBreton; his children Susan Burgess, Jennie McMillan and Andy Burgess (Lisa McLean); his step son Christopher LeBreton; four brothers: Jack (Diane), Douglas (Linda), Bob (Kate) and Laurie (Jeanette); his sisters, Sandra Dunn (Donnie) and Carol Baton; his sisters in law Valerie Burgess and Florence Burgess; two granddaughters: Shawna and Abby Burgess; his great grandson Markus Burgess, as well as several nieces and nephews.Gary is predeceased by his son, John who passed away in 1978 at the age of 7. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2011 from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8pm. The Royal Canadian Legion Sussex Branch # 20 will hold a tribute Sunday evening at 5:45. A Celebration of Gary’s life will be held from St. John’s United Church on Monday, November 21, 2011 at 2:00 pm.
