The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, surrounded by her family, on Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, of Alfreda Arsenault, dear wife of Jean Pierre Arsenault of Cape Egmont, at the age of 84 years. She is the daughter of late James and Catherine (nee Gaudet) LeClair. She is survived by her husband, Jean Pierre and the following sons and daughters: Simone (Arthur) Arsenault of Abram Village, Michel (Anne) Arsenault of Cape Egmont, George Arsenault (Louise Comeau) of Cape Egmont, Monique (late Gary) Arsenault of Summerside, Marie (Reginald) Maddix of Cape Egmont, Colette (Louis) Richard of Cape Egmont, and Jacques Arsenault at home. Also survived by 11 grandchildren: Diane (Glen) McInnis, Sonia (Peter) Gogoh, Joey (Linda) Arsenault, Tommy (Jennifer) Arsenault, Danielle (Steve) Robinson, Julie (Calvin) Arsenault, Nicole Arsenault (Lewie Wilson), Jason Maddix, Tania Maddix (Gilles Bernard), Suzanne (Marc) Cote and Pierre Richard and also by seven great-grandchildren, a sister, Florence (late Alphie) Gallant of Urbainville, sisters-in-law, Ella LeClair of Urbainville, Azele Arsenault of Summerside, and a brother-in-law, Donat (Rose Marie) Arsenault of Summerside. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brothers and sisters, Leonard, Rosina, Cedric, Therese, Ernest and Edward , brother -and sister-in-law, Adrien and Therese Arsenault. Resting at the Evangeline Funeral Home until Wednesday, then to Notre Dame du Mont Carmel Church in Mont Carmel for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Visitation shall be received on Tuesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Mont Carmel church parish would be greatly appreciated. Interment is in the church cemetery.
