Setsuko [Sets] Iwasaki passed away gracefully on October 29, 2009.

She is survived by husband and daughter, Drs. Yataro [Bud] and Laura; sister Hatsue (Yosh) Yoshida; brothers Fiko Konishi (Shirley) and Jenji (Joanne) Konishi.

Sets was born on Mayne Is. and moved to Turtle Valley as a consequence of WWII. Sets spent most of her school years living in Tappen and graduated from Salmon Arm High School. She moved to Kamloops for additional schooling and then worked at CIBC until marrying and moving to Peace River. For the past 50 years, Sets and Bud have made their home in Kamloops. Sets was interminably interested in the flora, fauna and foods of the world and expressed this through gardening, painting, cooking and trips to golf, camp, fish and visit family.

No public service will be held.
