Mary Agnes Marshall, 81 of Eskasoni, formerly of Wagmatcook, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 surrounded by her loved ones.
Born in Wagmatcook, she was the daughter of the late Gabriel and Mary Susan (Isadore) Peck.
She was a member of Holy Family parish, Eskasoni. Agnes was passionate about children and loved to baby sit, play cards and bingo.
She is survived by her daughter Jane Rose Peck, Membertou; son Gabriel (Heather) Marshall, Eskasoni; sister Jean Peck, Eskasoni; brother Ben Peck Sr., Wagmatcook; 12 grandchildren, special grandson Kirk Peck; several nieces and nephews; foster son Rio Johnson, Eskasoni and godchild Natalie Paul.
She was predeceased by her husband Bernard 'Bernie' Marshall; son Jacob Peck; grandchildren Tara Herney, Kateri Marshall; sisters Josephine Marshall, Bella Paul and brother Michael Peck.
Visitation for Agnes Marshall will take place after 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 22 at the family residence 4512 Shore Road, Eskasoni. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Church with Rev. Martin MacDougall officiating. Interment in the parish cemetery, Eskasoni.
