DUNHAM, PETER LODGE - Peter Lodge Dunham, 63, Mahone Bay, passed away peacefully at the South Shore Regional Hospital, Sunday, November 13, 2011. Born in London, Ontario he was the son of the late Ronald and Doris Dunham, originally from St. John, NB. A graduate of the University of New Brunswick, Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Peter worked in the field of geomatics and civil engineering during his professional career. He was a resident of Mahone Bay for over 40 years and was involved in various volunteer roles in the community. He also served for one term as town councilor. He is survived by his wife Annette St-Onge; step son, Thomas Mc Phee (Nancy McLeod), Toronto; step daughter, Chantal Mc Phee (David Saucy), Ontario; two step grandchildren, Hannah and Emma Saucy; uncle, R. Gordon Smith, Bridgewater; and several cousins.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, November 19 at 11:00 a.m., St. James Anglican Church, Mahone Bay, with a reception to follow in the church hall. Interment will be at a later date. The family expresses their sincere appreciation for the compassionate care extended to Peter by the nurses and staff of the VON and the South Shore Regional Hospital. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Peter’s name to the VON, the Mahone Bay Centre Society, or the Mahone Bay Founders’ Society.
