of the late Genevieve (Jean) Penton
announce her passing at the Sir
Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville
on Sunday, November 20, 2011 at the
age of 80 years. She will be sadly
missed by her 7 children: Cyril (Lynn) of
Stephenville, Ethel (Andre) of Quebec,
Rick (Daphene) of Stephenville, Tyrone
(Lynne) of Barrie, Ontario, Regina (Terry)
of Stephenville, Kathy (Kevin) of
Stephenville, Rory (Colleen) of
Stephenville, daughter-in-law Darlene
Penton of Stephenville and 5 siblings:
Cathy (Harold) Ronayne of Witless Bay,
Loretta (Late Leonard) White of St.
John’s, Gabe (Late Peter) Norris of
Witless Bay, Philomena Chancey of St.
John’s, Stephen Jr. (Dolly) Carter of
Witless Bay, 15 grandchildren, 5 great
grandchildren and a large circle of relatives
and friends. She was predeceased
by her husband, Clarence
Penton Sr. in 2004 and her son,
Clarence Penton Jr. (Tom) in 2010.

Stephenville on Monday, November
21st from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday,
November 22nd from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Funeral Services will take place on
Wednesday, November 23rd at 10:00
a.m. at St. Stephens Parish, West
Street, Stephenville with Internment in
the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen
Highway, Stephenville.
