Passed peacefully away at Brookfield Hospital on Friday, November 18, 2011 Myrtis West age 88 years of Lumsden. Predeceased by her parents Cater and Bertha Stokes; husband Everett; daughter Emma Chaulk; granddaughters Tanya and Wanda Kean; son-in-law Hubert Kean; sisters Lena Pickett, Eliza Rideout and Flossie Stokes; brother Charlie Stokes. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her son Curtis(Deanne) of Lumsden; daughters Margaret Kean of Bonnews Lodge, Badger’s Quay, Marjorie Hiscock(George) of Gander and Joyce West of Lumsden; son-in-law Jack Chaulk of Lumsden; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral service took place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Monday, November 21, 2011 with Rev. Lorne Bungay officiating. Interment followed at The United Church Cemetery, Lumsden.
