Dennis, Robert Perley – 63, Debert passed away November 20, 2011 at home. Born in Truro, he was a son of the late Arthur and Jessie (Collins) Dennis. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator with Dexter Construction formerly A.C.L Construction. He was a loving father and grandfather who cared deeply for his family. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially working in the yard, tending his garden and hiking. He is survived by daughters, Terri-Lynn Hobson (Jason), Fergus Ontario, Lori Dennis, Belmont; grandchildren, Emma, Campbell, Riley; brothers, Leonard (Rae) , Clarence (Brenda), both of Truro; sisters, Marion (Nelson) Fraser, BC, Laverne (Ray) Beaulieu, Michigan, USA; former wife, Susan Dennis; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother, Edward. No formal funeral service by request. A gathering will be held on Wednesday, November 23 from 2-4 pm in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro.
