The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011, of Augustine “Gussie” MacDonald, of Kensington, aged 88 years. Born in Kensington, he was the son of the late John and Florence (Kelly) MacDonald. Survived by his sister Patricia Brennan, Kensington; brother John (Marsha) MacDonald, Hamilton, ON, and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Mary (Adolphus) MacKinnon; sister Lucy and brother Peter MacDonald in infancy; and by his brother-in-law Alfred Brennan. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Wednesday, then to the Church of the Holy Family, Kensington, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Indian River. Visiting hours Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or to St. Mary’s Cemetery, Indian River would be appreciated.
