October 19, 1931 – November 20, 2011. The family of Captain Thomas A. E. Smith, of Heart’s Delight, sadly announces his passing on Sunday, November 20, 2011, aged 80 years. He was predeceased by his parents Jacob and Clara (Hillier) Smith, his oldest child Randy T. Smith and brother Rev. Alec Smith. Leaving to mourn and celebrate his life with thanksgiving are his loving wife of 59 years, Gladys M. Smith, along with their children Raymond, Halifax, NS; Yvonne (Gary) Hippenstall, Lower Sackville, NS; Rick, Halifax; Ronald, Greenwood, NS and Marion (Vance) Sobey, Maple Glen, NB; also lovingly remembered by twelve grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren; as well as numerous friends.
