It is with great sadness that the family of the late Barbara House of Port Saunders, NL, announce her passing on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 48 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Dan; daughters Jinene (Desmond), Port Saunders, and Ashley (Dwayne), Deer Lake; grandchildren Dakota and Donovan; parents Leonard and Edna House, River of Ponds; sister Joanne (Troye); brothers Evan (Connie), Junior (Ellisa), and Russell (Gladys); extended family Laura (Wilfred), Elaine (Steve), Sidney (Jill), Stephen (Vicky), and Nicholas; mother-in-law Hepsey House; brothers-in-law Craig (Lisa), Clan (Brenda) and Derek, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family received friends at St. John the Divine Anglican Church in Port Saunders on Sunday evening and Monday from where the funeral Service took place on Tuesday, Nov. 22, at 2 p.m. Interment followed at the Interfaith Cemetery, Sandy Cove. As expressions of sympathy, flowers were graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
