Mike passed away peacefully at the Rosedale Hospice in Calgary, Alberta. Mike is survived by his wife Joan (Calgary), his brother Steve (Prince Albert), his sons Bill (Calgary) and Michael (Calgary) and his daughters Kimeal (Dawson Creek), Michelle (Saskatoon) and Tracy (Calgary), as well as six grandsons: Conrad, Adam, Andrew, Stefan, Jason and Jude and eight granddaughters: Melissa, Amy, Shantell, Truly, Marina, Sasha, Hariot and Avonlea and one great granddaughter Brinn. He was predeceased by his daughter Karen, his brother Frank, and his parents Mike and Mary. The family would like to extend their gratitude and thanks to the staff at Foothills Hospital and the Rosedale Hospice for their care and kindness. A private celebration of Mike’s life will be held in his memory. Donations in his honor can be made to the Tom Baker Cancer Centre in Calgary.
