The death occurred ,peacefully at her late residence, “surrounded by her loving family” on Wednesday Nov. 23, 2011 of Doris Ruth Montgomery of Park Corner, aged 83 years. Born in South West Lot 16 on July 12, 1928, daughter of the late Sterling and Lillian (Newcombe) MacLean, formerly of South West Lot 16. Wife of the late James T. Montgomery. Loving mother to Joyce, Summerside; Donald (deceased; Marlene (Allan) McCarville, Sittsville, Ontario; Marilyn (James) Murphy, Emerald; William (Jackie), Kensington and Kenneth, Park Corner. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Allan and Blaine Montgomery, Chantelle (Chris) Stewart, Krista and sherri-Lee Montgomery, Michael Murphy and Mary Ella McCarville, and by her sister Ruby Cousins, Spring Valley. Sister-in-law of Roma (Arthur) Campbell, Spring Brook, Robert (Brenda) Montgomery, French River, Nellie Warren, Nepean, Ontario and Geraldine MacLean, Halifax, Nova Scotia. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by daughter-in-law Janine Montgomery, brother Keir MacLean, brothers-in-law Maurice Cousins and Shelton Warren. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington, completed funeral arrangements to be announced. If so desired contributions may be made to the Lot 16 United Church Cemetery Fund or the Geddie Memorial Cemetery Fund.
