PARKER, CECELIA B. “Midge” – 85, of Parrsboro passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan. Born in Parrsboro, she was a daughter of the late Otto and Mary (McGrath) Phinney. She is survived by daughters, Brenda Welton (Milford), Two Islands; Nancy Bennett (Edward McCulley), Parrsboro; grandchildren, Tracy McCulley (Anthony Dancause), Vanderhoof, B.C.; Kim Faulkner (Steve), Rankin Inlet, Nunavut; Shelley Hines (Mark), Campbellton, N.B.; Dana McCulley, Parrsboro; Alexander Welton (Lisa Wood), Parrsboro; Kathleen Welton (Paul McCarthy), Amherst Point; Wanda Bennett, Parrsboro; Andrew Bennett, Halifax; great grandchildren, Nikki Bennett, Bryan Taylor, Connor and Parker Faulkner, Ryan and Colby Hines; step grandchildren, Christopher and Kyle McCarthy; a sister, Marguerite Winters (Roy), Parrsboro; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Russell “Rud” in 1982; a sister, Rhoda Blenkhorn; a brother, Lawrence “PeeWee” Phinney. Funeral 2 p.m. Friday [November 25, 2011] at St. George’s Anglican Church, Parrsboro, Rev. Tory Byrne officiating. Burial in the church cemetery.
