Passed peacefully at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on November 4th, 2009, away from this life into the loving arms of my Lord and Saviour “Jesus Christ,” Anne Puddicombe-Clancey, aged 75 years. Predeceased by parents Robert and Eva Butterworth, husband Robert Puddicombe, brother Robert Butterworth Jr., son Garry David Nicholl, daughter Bonnita Joyce Nicholl, sisters Joyce Butterworth, Pearl Baggs, Bonnita Butterworth. Leaving to mourn husband Edward Clancey; children: Janice Bursey (Alfred), St. John’s, Derry Rae Nicholl (Jaunita), St. John’s, George Larry Nicholl (Annita), St. John’s, Beverley Anne Puddicombe, Ottawa; stepchildren: Edward Clancey Jr., (Pamela), St. John’s, Joseph Clancey, St. John’s, Will Clancey, St. John’s; sister Jean Wilson, Ottawa; brothers: Edward Wayne Butterworth, Ottawa, Reginald Butterworth, Ottawa, Gordon Butterworth, Markland, N.L., George Butterworth, Markland, N.L.; grandchildren: David Robert Nicholl, Natasha Vanessa Nicholl, Angela Christina O’Keeffe, George Matthew Nicholl, Melaine Lane, David Rae Nicholl, Rodger Duncan Nicholl, Laura Violet Nicholl, Mary Ann Puddicombe (Ottawa); sisters-in-law: Betty Lockyer (Martin), Sheila Webber (Gordon), Elsie Chapman (Bob), Jean Barrett (Calvin); brother-in-law: Harold (Joan) Clancey. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, St. John’s, N.L. on Thursday, November 5th, and Friday, November 6th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, November 7th at 2 p.m. from Barrett’s Chapel.
