Jim Bates
We, the family of the late Jim Bates wish to express our sincere appreciation to our relatives, neighbors, and friends who supported us during our difficult time. To those who kept us in their prayers, visited, brought food to our homes, sent cards, monetary gifts, e-mails and condolences, we thank you all. A special thank you to Dr. Buhariwala, Dr. D’Intinto and the staff of the Palliative Care Unit for their constant care and support for Jim. A special thank you to the Canadian Coast Guard and the Bateston Fire Dept., words could not express our appreciation. Thanks to the Bateston Athlete Club, readers, Diane and Gerard, grandson Brian, for your beautiful solo, pallbearers, and honorary pallbearers, Father Mac Dow, Father Raj, Immaculate Conception Church Choir and the C.W.L. for the lovely lunch they provided, and to all who attended the funeral to honor Jim. To each and everyone who helped in anyway, your kindness will never be forgotten.
