It is with great sadness that the family of the late Stewart Wicks announce his sudden passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook, on Wednesday, November 4th, 2009 at the age of 69 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his siblings: Mrs. Ann Thistle, Jean (Ron Howell), both of Corner Brook, and Florence (Ron Ford) of Ontario, Wilfred (Christine) Wicks of Jackson's Arm, his special cousin, Bruce (Shirley) Wicks with whom he resided, his aunts: Mrs. Alma Jones, Mrs. Mildred Wicks both of Jackson's Arm and Mrs. Jean Cassell of Sop's Arm. Stewart was predeceased by his parents: Prudence and John Wicks, brothers: Leander, Eric and Frederick, sisters: Nellie Ford and Elizabeth Canning. Also leaving to mourn a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, family and friends. Cremation has taken place and the burial will follow at a later date.
