COFFEY, Paddy (Patrick) – Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s, November 24, 2011, in the presence of his loved ones, Paddy (Patrick) Coffey, in his 86th year. Predeceased by his sons Leroy (1974) and Francis (1998); mother Rose and father Patrick; brothers Jeremiah and Maurice, and sister Mary. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 60 years, Bride; 11 children: Linda Caul (John deceased), Peter (Anne-Marie), Jeannie (Gus) Lundrigan, Judy (Carl) Chubbs, Michael (Marilyn), Loretta (Petey) Conway, Teddy (Gertrude), George, Doreen, Gerard (Angie), Derek (Dawn); 24 grandchildren: Corina (Colin) Walde, Shasta, Jasmin, Mikalon, Kerry (Eddie) Griffin, Jessica, Hailee, Jade, Patrick, Courtney, Edward, Stephanie, Annette (Gerard) Campbell, Jamie, Jessica, Jillian, Justin, Brandon, Michael, Michelle, Rebecca, Jennifer, Sarah (Ryan), and Shauna (Ernest); 10 great-grandchildren: Bradley, Brady, Ryan, Dominic, Hamish, Jackson, Lillah, Francis, Mary Jane, and Jacob; brother Harold and sisters: Ann McGrath (Richard deceased), Bride (Pat) O’Rourke, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and a large circle of friends. Resting at Maher’s Funeral Home, Placentia. Visitation will take place Saturday and Sunday from 2 pm-9 pm. Funeral Mass to take place 11 am on Monday at Sacred Heart Church, Placentia.
