Passed peacefully away surrounded by her family on Sunday, November 27th, 2011, at the Bonne Bay Health Center, in Norris Pt, NL Annie Myrtle Smith at the age of 97 years, leaving with fond and loving memories her children; Clarence (Maude), George (Joan), Herbert (Zena) all of Norris Pt, NL, Mrs. Annie Phillips of Bonavisita, NL, and Linda (Roland Humber) of Fredericton, NB, her 19 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, and 11 great great grandchildren, her sister, Mrs. Blanche Watts of Rocky Hr, NL, her daughter-in- law, Mrs. Melissa Smith of Norris Pt, NL. Mother was predeceased by her husband John Smith, her son Donald Smith, her grandson Curtis Smith, and her son-in-law Lloyd Phillips. She also leaves to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, family and friends. The family will be receiving family and friends from The Church of the Good Shepherd in Norris Pt, NL today, Tuesday, November 29th, 2011, from the hours of 4-9 pm. from where also the funeral service will take place on Wednesday, November 30th, 2011, at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Jean Brenton Hickman officiating, with the burial to follow at the church cemetery in Norris Pt, NL.
