CAMPBELL, MINARD ALLEN - The passing of Minard Allen Campbell of Fredericton, NB, husband of Arlene (Brewer) Campbell occurred on Monday, November 28, 2011 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on December 12, 1923 in Staples Settlement, NB, he was the son of the late Walter and Irena (Nason) Campbell. He was a member of the Douglas Baptist Church. Minard had worked for Lawson Motors and Elm City Chrysler. During his retirement he volunteered for many years at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. In addition to his wife, Minard is survived by nieces, Shirley Chamberlin, Mary (Jack) McKinnon and Linda Brooks; nephews, Percy (Betty) Campbell, Keith (Cristal) Campbell and Gordon (Patricia) Campbell. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Douglas Campbell (Emily).
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Thursday, December 1, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at Douglas Baptist Church on Friday, December 2, 2011 at 11 am with Rev. Peter Moore officiating. Interment will take place in Staples Settlement Cemetery.
