LEACH, IAN - Ian Leach of Carter’s Point, husband of Lorrie Anne (Landry) Leach, passed away at home on November 29, 2011, after a lengthy illness. Born in Saint John on October 10, 1968, he was a son of Ronald and Sandra (Guimond) Leach. Ian worked at the Irving Refinery, beginning as a millwright. He enjoyed cooking, and was a pool shark. In addition to his wife Lorrie, and his parents, Ian is survived by his son, Christopher Ryan Thomas Leach, daughter Jennifer Christine Leach, sister Andrea (Dean) Bell, of Millville, brother Curtis (Christine) Leach of Calgary, AB, brother-in-law Jimmy (Jeannette) Landry, as well as Lorrie’s parents, Connie and Robert Landry, and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Resting at Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John West (634-7425), with visiting on Wednesday from 7 to 9 pm, and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Friday at 2:00 pm from Brenan’s Bay View Chapel. Interment will take place in Hardings Point Cemetery.
