It is with great sadness that the family of the late Adelaide Colbourne announce her passing on Tuesday, November 29th, 2011 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in her 81st year. She will be sadly missed by her children, Clyde (Geraldine), Edwin, Gary (Sharon), daughter Faye Colbourne, grandchildren: Shannon, Renee, Gary, Joe and Lindy, her siblings Ross (Audrey), Fred, Wallace (Doreen), Royburn (Karen), Carl, Patsy (Gill), Marilyn (Llewelyn), Mildred (Woodrow), Hersey (Tony), sisters-in-law Adelaide Colbourne, Stella Warren, Gladys (Burt) and Alma Pynn. Special friends Julia Avery, Sandra Banks and Maude Regular. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Francis John, children: Dennis, Linda, and Brian & brothers Leeward and Jim. Visitation will take place from the Salvation Army Citadel in Hampden Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will take place on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. with Capt. Darlene Burt officiating. Interment to follow at the family plot. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 Northmain Street Deer Lake.
