STEAD, Karen Renee – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Karen Renee Stead (nee Gordon), age 36 of Paradise, formerly of Glovertown at the Health Sciences Centre following a courageous battle with cancer. Karen leaves to mourn her loving husband Ashley of 13 years, two precious sons Branden and Jordan, parents Hedley and Rita Gordon of Glovertown; sisters: Rhoda (Richard Isabelle) of Oromocto, N.B., Cathy (Brian Swan) of Glovertown, Janet-Ann (Perry Dyke) of Moncton; brothers Jerwin (Crystal) of Terra Nova, Robert (Diane) of Glovertown; brothers-in-law: Kevin (Dawn), Boyd (Jeannie) and Dwight (Barb) — all of Calgary, Alta.; sister-in-law Geraldine (Harold Harvey) of Eastport. Karen also leaves to mourn a large extended family and a large circle of friends. Resting at Oram’s Funeral Home, Glovertown, with visitation planned for 2-4:30 and 7-9 p.m., Friday, Nov. 6. Funeral service will be held at The Pentecostal Church in Glovertown on Saturday, Friday, Nov. 7 at 1:30 p.m. followed by interment at the Salvage Cemetery.
